November 21, 2024: Community Campaigning Fairfield Ward
Cllrs Esther Sutton and Ria Patel will be talking to residents and delivering leaflets.
We will be using our 60 Second surveys that are an effective way to find out residents concerns.

Do come along to meet your Green Party Councillors and help promote the Green Party. It's a good opportunity to meet local members and supporters. Training provided if you want to help or just curious about our community campaigning.

November 23, 2024: Sutton and Croydon Annual General Meeting
Join us to hear reports from our Coordinator, Treasurer, Elections Officer and Croydon Councillors Ria Patel and Esther Sutton
This will be a hybrid meeting, via Zoom, so please indicate whether you'll be attending In Person or Via Zoom.
Registrations to attend via Zoom will close at midnight on Friday 22nd November - to allow time for checking membership status and to distribute the link to the meeting on the morning of Saturday 23rd November.
If attending in person, please register before 9am on Saturday 23 November to allow time to check your membership status.
Please note that only fully paid up members are able to attend and vote.
Whilst we're working hard to ensure the online experience is as inclusive as possible, there are many factors beyond our control, such as your hardware and internet connection, which may affect your ability to participate online.
Athene House is a 5 minutes walk from East Croydon rail station. The entrance, except for wheelchairs, is via the front door on Addiscombe Grove.
There will be opportunities to chat with members over tea and coffee before and after the meeting, so the hybrid meeting will open at 12:15pm with 15 minutes to allow checking against registration and to test you can vote via the online poll, and will end at approximately 2:15pm at the conclusion of the business of the meeting. The in person meeting will end at 2:45pm to allow time to tidy the venue ensuring we've vacated the building by 3pm.
Submit a Motion to the AGM
Submissions for motions are now closed, however attendees at the meeting may vote to discuss and vote upon an emergency motion at the meeting by a simple majority.
December 1, 2024: Croydon West Action Day & Winter Social
Join us for a Croydon West Green Party Action Day on Sunday 1st December!
We need your support to get out on the doorstep and speak with residents. We're excited to be joined by Caroline Russell, Green Party London Assembly Member!
We’ll be meeting at West Croydon Station at 10:30am and at Selhurst Station at 2:30pm. Please note that the map on this page may be incorrect. These are the correct details.
Here’s the schedule:
10:30: Meet at West Croydon Station for a session to speak with residents in Fairfield
Before setting off we'll hear from Caroline Russell, who will then join us to speak with residents!
1pm: Lunch - we will go to a local cafe/restaurant
2:30pm: Meet at Selhurst Station to speak with residents on the doorstep in South Norwood
4:30pm: Evening Winter Social
Please RSVP so we know who to expect!
Everyone is welcome, whether you're experienced or new. We'll have a briefing at the start and if you've never been out with us before, we'll pair you up with someone more experienced until you feel confident.
There may also be an option for delivering leaflets for those who don't wish to speak to people.
